Forsta Attends ACE 2012 Dallas, Texas

One month has elapsed since the ACE conference convened in Dallas, Texas and Forsta Filters is still buzzing with the connections and projects set in motion at the event.

This year at ACE was a great opportunity to give potential customers the “hands-on” experience of our filter’s inner workings.  At various meetings, engineers were given an opportunity to see a small self-cleaning unit from the inside out.  The M2-90 self-cleaning filter model impressed many with the robustness of construction, straightforward design and precise integration of internal components.

Forsta design engineer Daniel Stenberg prepared a special cutaway model of the M2-90 that allowed viewers to see the rotation and linear movement of the particle remover with the filter fully assembled.  The model featured a hydraulic motor to drive the movement of the piston with the filter at differential pressure.  The compact model made a perfect example of Forsta’s self-cleaning technology and was used in many conversations to extrapolate to larger applications which would require a variety of different elements, but would function on the same basic operating principles.

The interest for reliable pre-filtration for a wide array of membrane technologies was highly apparent.  In recent years, Forsta has established itself as offering the most robust and dependable self-cleaning filters, along with competitive pricing and superior customer service.

The great part of ACE this year, as in the past, was building relationships.   It is always such a pleasure to meet in person with people that often we only have a chance to connect with by phone or email.

Forsta will continue to be a part of the ACE community for years to come, and looks forward spending the remainder of the year following through on the things set in motion at this year’s conference.
