The American Water Works Association’s Annual Conference & Exhibition is always a great time to connect with engineers, operators and OEM’s in the water industry. This year’s theme had an emphasis on uniting the world of water, including drinking, wastewater, stormwater and reuse.

Forsta had a great time this year, and had an opportunity to discuss the ongoing success in operation of equipment throughout sectors. A great feature each year at the show is the chance to give hands-on demos. There is no substitute for seeing Forsta’s robust equipment construction firsthand, and being able to get a sense of the streamlined integration of internal components.

It was especially exciting to be invited to participate in an interview with Water Online on the show floor. The interview provided a platform to discuss the Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Series of self-cleaning filters. Listen to the interview (below) to learn more about the how the corrosion-resistant series is being utilized in high-chloride filtration applications such as desalination and seawater cooling.

Across the board, Forsta’s presence in the industry continues to be fortified by the relationships formed at ACE. In an age of internet an email, the Industry Trade Show gives us a rare opportunity to connect in person. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
